GrandPrix Race Manager

Step 8 - Create Race Schedules:
  • Supports a variety of race methods, such as Perfect-N Type Charts, Lane Rotation, Stearns, and other non-elimination methods.
  • Also supports "Dynamic Scheduling". Racers are matched by their performance in previous heats, maximizing the number of racers getting at least one heat win and making closer competition for racers at all levels.
  • You can even skip the scheduling step altogether, if you will be running a No Chart (ad-hoc) race.
  • You can generate Perfect-N Type charts, made popular by Stan Pope and Cory Young, Lane Rotation Charts or Dynamic charts, using the built-in chart generators.
  • You can have the software collate your group schedules for a round into a master schedule. Keeps racers more involved and not waiting for their group's turn to race.
  • The Lane Rotation Chart generator gives you the choice of Normal, Phase Shifted, Modified and Clustered Lane Rotation charts. Phase Shifted Lane rotation charts are similar to Normal charts, but heat assignments are shifted to improve the number of opponents for each racer. Modified Lane Rotation charts try to run all racers once through before rotating the lane assignments. Clustered Lane Rotation charts run groups of racers through all lanes and then does the next group of racers.
  • If you have your own race charts you can input them by manual entry or import them from a text file.
  • You can check your race schedule's equity of opponents (who races against who) and lane usage (how many times each racer races in each lane).
  • The built-in schedulers will give you an estimate of how much time it will take to run a particular schedule.
