Supports a variety of race methods, such as Perfect-N
Type Charts, Lane Rotation, Stearns,
and other final standings methods.
Also supports "dynamic
scheduling". Racers are matched
by their performance in previous heats, maximizing the number of racers
getting at least one heat win and making closer competition for racers
at all levels.
You can even skip the scheduling step altogether, if you will be running a No Chart
(ad hoc) race.
You can generate Perfect-N Type charts, made popular by Stan Pope
and Cory Young, or Lane Rotation Charts, using the built-in chart
generators.
The Lane Rotation Chart generator gives you the choice of Normal,
Modified and Clustered Lane Rotation charts. Modified Lane Rotation
charts try to run all racers once through before rotating the lane
assignments. Clustered Lane Rotation charts run groups of racers through
all lanes and then does the next group of racers.
If you have your own race charts you can input them by manual entry
or import them from a text file.
You can check your race schedule's equity of opponents (who races
against who) and lane usage (how many times each racer races in each
lane).
The Perfect-N Type, Lane Rotation and Dynamic schedulers will give
you an estimate of how much time it will take to run a particular schedule.
