Step 2 - Software Setup:
  1. General
    • Specify which type of vehicle will be racing (Cars, Semi-Trucks, Boats or Rockets).
    • One registration data field is configurable so you can store vehicle name, weight or other data for each racer.
    • Enable the use of photos for each racer.
    • Supports from 1 to 8 lane tracks.
    • Label your track lanes by number, color or define your own lane labels.
    • Customize how you want the racer's name to show on the large-font screens.
    • You can opt not to use Subgroups, if just using Groups will be sufficient.
  2. Schedules
    • Collate schedules for each group in a round into a master schedule, if desired. A collated schedule ensures that racers are not waiting around for their group's turn to race, keeping them more involved.
  3. Racing
    • Display and record your track's record time, if desired.
    • With the scale speed information, the software can compute and display scale speed, when interfacing with a timer.
    • The Auto Heat Advance feature will allow the results to be displayed on the racing screen for the specified amount of time before the next heat is automatically displayed.
  4. Standings
    • Score results by Time or by Points.
    • If scoring by times, you can specify to compute the standings by cumulative, average or the single fastest times. You can even ignore each racer's worst time!
    • To break ties in the standings, you can opt to apply a set of tiebreaker rules.
      • Times Tiebreakers - 1) Total points 2) Results against common competitors 3) Strength of schedule
      • Points Tiebreakers - 1) Results against common competitors 2) Strength of schedule 3) Total time (if using a timer)
    • You can turn on/off the ability to exclude racers from the standings but still let them race (times scoring only).
