Feature Key:
- Send Finish Times - Times for each lane will be sent to GrandPrix Race Manager upon the completion of timing.
- Reverse Lanes - Lane numbering can be reversed. This is actually done by GrandPrix Race Manager, without any communication to the
- Reset by Computer - Timer can be reset from GrandPrix Race Manager.
- Force Results - If you need to abort timing, for any reason, pressing the Escape key in GrandPrix Race Manager will cause the timer to send results for any lanes that have already finished. If the timer doesn't support this feature, you must wait until the timer times out or you reset the start gate in order to see the results.
- Ignore Bye Lanes - If there is a Bye lane(s) in a heat, GrandPrix Race Manager can get the results from the timer once each of the other lanes have finished.
- Mask Lanes - GrandPrix Race Manager can instruct the timer to disable any lane(s) that you specify. This is useful if not all lanes are to be used. Some timers not supporting lane masking can be otherwise configured to use fewer lanes.
- Indicate Timing Started - Timer provides some indication that it has detected the start switch (or laser gate) signal and has commenced timing. GrandPrix Race Manager can then give you a green Start indication while in the Racing screen.
- Start Gate Open Check - Timer will provide an indication if the start gate is open, when queried by GrandPrix Race Manager. This software can then warn you about the problem. This would provide an indication that the start gate has either not been reset or that there is a problem with the start gate switch (or laser gate).
- Photo Finish Trigger - If the timer can trigger a photo finish device. GrandPrix Race Manager can be used to setup the photo finish device.
- Count Down Clock - If the timer displays a count down during an intermission. GrandPrix Race Manager can be used to start and stop the count down.
