What's New with Version 3.0
Here is a summary of what's new with Version 3.0:
- Added a new "Dashboard" screen, which is a compact version
of the main screen. You can select which sound buttons to display on
the dashboard and the screen is fully resizable. It can also be set
to stay on top of other programs, like GrandPrix
Race Manager.
- Integrated support with GrandPrix Race Manager Version
6.0. and above. GrandPrix Race Manager can automatically
or manually launch the RaceFX dashboard
screen from the racing screen. With the RaceFX "Always
on Top" feature you no longer have to switch back and forth between RaceFX and GrandPrix
Race Manager.
- Added the ability to change screen background colors on the main
and dashboard screens.
- Mousing over a sound button will display the sound's filename. This,
along with the button image, aids in knowing which sound is which.
- Added support for BMP and JPG images, so now BMP, GIF, ICO, and JPG
images can be used for sound buttons.
- Added for support for looping sounds continuously (WAV files only).
- The last used sound and image directories will be remembered for
use in setup of button sounds and images.
- Some optimization has been done to improve performance.
