What's New with Version 4.0
Here's a summary of what's new:
- General
- Added the ability to create data files to store configuration of
categories and sounds. Now you can create multiple data files,
each tailored for a different purpose (e.g. one for Pinewood Derby, one for
Space Derby, and one for Raingutter Regatta).
- Updated look and feel.
- Added automatic check for software updates upon program startup.
- Sound Categories
- You can have an unlimited number of sound categories.
- Can assign an icon image to a sound category. This can be older icon
formats or newer Windows XP and Vista icons.
- Sounds
- You can have an unlimited number of sounds per category.
- Keyboard shortcuts to trigger a sound are now configurable (with exception
of Dashboard screen).
- Added support for AIF, AIFF, AU, and WMA sound files.
- Added support for using PNG and WMF images as button images.
- Added support for using Windows XP and Vista icon images as button
images.
- Added the ability to loop all supported sound file types.
- Added the ability to overlap sounds.
- An additional 30 sounds are provided.*
- Play List - Added a Play List of sounds. Now you can tell a story with your sounds.
Each sound will be played in sequence.

various free sources and are provided free of charge and for your convenience.
