• Adapts to Other Types of Races - Customizable for racing cars, semi-trucks, Space Derby® rockets and Raingutter Regatta boats.
• Step By Step Use - The software indicates the steps to take to run your race. You can check off each step as you go.
• Customize to Your Organization - It doesn't matter if your organization is Cub Scouts®, Boy Scouts, Awana®, Royal Rangers, Royal Ambassadors, Lutheran Pioneers, YMCA Adventure Guides, Christian Service Brigade, CRC Cadets, or another organization. You can define your competition groups to be whatever you want. What you call your racing groups and subgroups (Pack, Club, Rank, Den, Grade, Group, Subgroup, etc.) can also be configured in the software.
• Number of Lanes - Supports from 1 to 8 lane tracks.
• Simple Racer Registration - Manually enter racers or import racer information from an existing spreadsheet or database. Racers can choose their own car numbers or they can be assigned by the race staff or the software itself.
• Race Charts
  • Compatible with most non-elimination methods such as Perfect-N Type, Stearns, Lane Rotation, Round Robin, and others. Generate Perfect-N Type or Lane Rotation Charts or import your own charts.
  • GrandPrix Race Manager now supports "Dynamic Racing". Racers are matched based on performance in earlier heats. This maximizes the number of racers to win at least one heat and also leads to closer races for racers at all levels.
  • You can even race without charts for ad-hoc racing.

• Race Scoring - Score by total points (based on finish order) or by cumulative, average or single fastest elapsed time. With times scoring, you can even ignore each racer's worst time, so one bad run doesn't hurt them. Points and Times can be entered manually or automatically via one of the supported timing systems.
• Timing Systems Supported - Supports several popular Serial Port timing systems. Serial Port timing systems include Fast Track, The JUDGE, NewBold DTX000 and Daytona/Turbo Timers, RaceMaster IV, Timestopper, and SmartLine. This software can also be configured to work with many other serial timers, even some home-built timers.

  Important Note: We make no guarantees that serial timers NOT specifically listed above will work with this software. We only provide technical support for communication with serial timers listed above.
  Important Note: GrandPrix Race Manager no longer supports timing via the parallel port.

• Other Hardware Supported - Supports triggering a solenoid start gate and drag racing style start light "Christmas Tree" via the serial port.

• Awards Management - You can define an unlimited number of design, speed and other awards and designate the winners of each. You can even print out awards and participation certificates!
• Large Font Displays - Roster, Racing, Standings and Awards screen fonts are large enough to display on a large TV or projection system for your audience to see.
• Highly Customizable - Many options are provided to allow you to customize the software to better suit your needs.
• Reports - Numerous reports are provided to help you manage your entire race from race rosters to reports on results and race statistics. Reports can also be exported to various file formats and even be posted to your website.
• Race Rounds - Run any number of rounds for each race group. You can also run a Grand Finals round of the top finishers from each race group.
• Fully Featured Racing Screen - Shows current heat's and "On Deck" racers and race results, use sound effects, display track record, display top 10 times, automatically receive input from a timing system, and other features. You can also run test races without having to register racers, and run head-to-head tiebreaker heats, if needed.
• Tiebreakers - If you have a tie in the standings, you can apply a set of tiebreaker rules to break it without any further racing. You can also break the ties in head-to-head fashion.
• Data Export - You can export report data and create your own custom reports.
• Race Statistics - Detailed statistics are provided for racers, heat turnaround times, lane, and overall race statistics.
• Supports PowerPoint Presentation Remotes - Your MC or race director can control the large-font screens using one of these types of remote control.
• Supports RaceFX Software - If you have RaceFX Version 3.0 installed, then you can launch the sound effects dashboard from the racing screen.
• Supports RaceReplay Software - If you have our RaceReplay Version 1.0 software installed, then GrandPrix Race Manager can automatically control the video recording and replay from the racing screen.
