"Derby Magic" Setup

You can interface with a Derby Magic timer, using GrandPrix Race Manager's custom timer interface.

This is not a supported timer, meaning that we cannot guarantee how well the software will work with that timer. In other words, use it at your own risk. We do recommend using one of the supported timing systems instead, as we have agreements in place with those manufacturers to ensure close compatibility of our software with their timers.
Starting with GrandPrix Race Manager Version 14, only the Pro version has the "Other Serial Timer" interface.
Derby Magic changed the baud rate of their latest timers to 19200. An update to GrandPrix Race Manager Version 13.0 adds in that baud rate.
