What's New with Version 11.0:
Version 11.0 of DerbyDMV™ adds several new features and improvements to help in getting prepared for your race and to add fun.
- Main Screen
- Delete Menu - When using any of the delete options the appropriate tab and group will be displayed after the deletion is complete.
- Divider position, between the group/subgroup list and the data records, is now remembered. (Racer and Race Crew tabs).
- Overview Tab - Added a Samples Files button, for easy access.
- Software Settings
- Added a user preference for date format.
- Increased maximum image size to 400 x 400 pixels.
- Job Positions are now stored in the settings file instead of the database. Any custom job positions will be available, regardless of the data file in use.
- Job Positions can be enabled/disabled, as desired.
- Driver's License Settings
- Added the ability to display drivers licenses in a vertical format, instead of horizontal.
- The "Issued Date" labeling can be customized.
- Updated default background images.
- Added a warning if background image proportions do not match the selected license size.
- Select from any system font, instead of just a select few.
- Pit Pass Settings
- The "Event Date" labeling can be customized.
- Updated default background images.
- Select from any system font, instead of just a select few.
- Report Settings
- Select from any system font, instead of just a select few.
- Report Viewer
- Added separate zoom up/down, fit page width and fit entire page buttons.
- Remembers screen size and position.
- Snapshots
- Added a warning if photo already exists with the same file name and gives the option to provide a different file name, instead of overwriting the old photo.
- General
- Position of dialog screens are now remembered for the next time around.
- You can now use the Delete key to delete selected records (Racers, Race Crew and Driver's Test questions).
- Matched many of the implementations to be identical to those in GrandPrix Race Manager, for ease of use and consistency.
- Upgraded framework to Python 3.8 and Gtk 3.24.23.
- Several other less notable improvements and fixes were implemented.
